So what does freeze dried mean?
You might have seen freeze dried fruits, berries or even lollies in the supermarket! Freeze drying is a low temperature dehydration process that involves freezing the product, lowering pressure in a vacuum, which then removes the ice by sublimation. Because of the low temperature used in processing, the quality of the rehydrated product is excellent and the flavour is delicious!
